The finc tank is a great opportunity for all students to get involved in FINSOC, our weekly publication, and further develop their own understanding of financial markets.

Each week, a topic or question will be provided related to a contemporary financial issue.

We are looking for a response of no longer than 350 words. The best response will be published each week. Every month, the student with the most outstanding response of the month will also receive a co-op book voucher valued at $100.

Week 1's Question

"Companies in the resources sector have once again recorded record profits over the past half-year since the global economic downturn in 2008. What have been the key economic drivers of their profits?"
