The 2 year Financial Management Program (FMP) is a dynamic learning experience, combining technical coursework, 4 rotational assignments and leadership development. It is designed to further develop technical, financial and business skills to fully prepare you for a financial leadership position with GE. Your numerous challenging positions will provide exposure and training within the many different elements of finance. The diversity of your assignments will also give you experience in a broad range of GE business aspects.

The coursework for the first year will focus on the tools and techniques of advanced accounting and finance, as well as business skills. Key areas include: Financial Foundations, Leadership, Business Accounting and Analysis, and Business Communications.

In the second year the focus will shift to the strategic application of these tools within GE. Key areas include: Business Planning and Strategy, Business Controls and Audit Principles and Problem Solving/Project Management.

You will also have a buddy and a mentor to provide advice and support in addition to the Program manager who will be there for career advice.

We are looking for high calibre graduates with energy, leadership skills and a passion for finance. We are looking for people with strong team and communication skills and it is essential to have geographic mobility as rotations are located in Sydney, Auckland and Melbourne.
